corresmo was founded by two former Big Four corporate real estate professionals who first worked together over two decades ago — one from the commercial and client side, one from the technical and modelling side.

The founders

Ellison Riddle

Ellison has worked in real estate finance and fund management for over 20 years. His employment history includes PwC, DTZ, Matrix Property Fund Management, Schroders and Alteris Capital Partners. He has held CFO and Finance Director roles across private equity-backed, pan-European platforms, delivered two IPOs and acted as FCA Compliance Officer and MLRO for nine years. Ellison is a Non-Executive Director of Zen Housing Limited, a Registered Provider of Social Housing. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds an M.Chem from the University of Oxford.

Will Elgood

Will has spent more than 20 years modelling property decisions and the numbers behind them. An alumnus of EY, Shell, Barclays and CBRE, he latterly specialised in global real estate strategies for corporate occupiers. In 2021, Will began a five-year project for Europe's biggest bank, designing, testing, deploying and giving global training on a new business case platform. corresmo benefits directly from that hard-won understanding of what such a system must do. He also holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Bristol, an MSc in Real Estate Investment from Bayes Business School and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Climate Change from SOAS.

Why we built it

Major property decisions — the lease renewal, the relocation, the portfolio restructure — are among the largest financial commitments an organisation makes, yet the cases behind them are too often built in one-off spreadsheets: hard to compare, hard to audit, and hard to defend when finance or the board pushes back.

We built corresmo to close that gap: a platform where the options are modelled on consistent assumptions, the comparison is honest, and the output is something a board can rely on.
